March 5, 2024 – 13,963 Miles: About 350 miles out of New Orleans, the front brakes locked up again! I limped the bike with no front brakes to Cross Country Cycle in Metuchen NJ, and they identified the root cause as the front brake lever hitting the throttle connector at the master cylinder, not allowing the piston to retract and function correctly. They replaced the compromised brake components under warranty, and reflushed the system with new fluid.

March 2, 2024 – 12,666 Miles: En route from Texas to the east coast, the front brakes suddenly locked up. Moto Julia BMW in New Orleans, LA diagnosed the problem to incorrectly installed retainer clips and a required brake bleed.
