MKL’s 1980 Puch Newport (February 2022 – Current)
This 1980 Puch Newport was acquired as a dilapidated non-runner in December 2020, and treated to a complete refurb. The image gallery below details the build step by step, from broken down junk into the Ara Blue Pearl ripper you see today! I want to thank the following folks who assisted me with the work:
Adiel Weiss for his help in answering a multitude of my technical questions on the “Lovers Of Puch Mopeds” Facebook group
James Baldwin of Motoblast Vapor Honing Service for making my aluminum engine cases and bits look like new again
JP of NYC Mopeds for all the professional wiring, electrical, and final tuning
